CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE / SALUTE TO THE FLAG OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO and ROLL CALL
Mayor Wiley called the meeting to order at 6:00pm, with the following Trustees present: Keith Hamilton, Matt Willett, Erwin D. Hardwick The following staff and guests were present: Barbara K. Garcia, Deputy Clerk, Henry Miller, Mel Adams, Dana Dourap, Kerri Snook, John Snook, Gail McCoy, Jeff Barr, Sandra Barr, Chris Hearne.
Pledge of Allegiance
Lead by Mayor Wiley
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Salute to the Flag of New Mexico
“I salute the flag of the State of New Mexico, the Zia symbol of perfect friendship among united cultures.”
- Public Comments : were allowed and Gail McCoy spoke to the Governing Body and audience to thank them for her years of service.
- Discussion/Action. Resolution 2026-30, Fourth Quarter BLJdget Submission Approval: Deputy Clerk advised this was to update the language to include “the approval of the fourth quarter submission for FY25.26”. Mayor Wiley entertained a motion. Trustee Hamilton made a motion to approve Resolution2026-30 Fourth Quarter Budget Submission, Trustee Willett seconded the motion, with no further discussion a roll call vote was taken:

The motion carries unanimously.
- Discussion/Action. Appointment of Vacant Trustee Position: Mayor Wiley introduced John Snook and advised the Council that after review of all candidates that sent letters of interest he was making a recommendation to appoint John Snook to the council to fulfill the remainder of the term. At the mayor’s request Mr. Snook introduced himself to the council and audience and gave a brief on his background. Mayor Wiley entertained a motion. Trustee Willett made a motion to approve the appointment of John Snook to the vacant council seat to fulfill the term, Trustee Hamilton seconded the motion, with no further discussion a roll call vote was taken;

The motion carries unanimously.
