Call to Order and Roll Call
Mayor Gerald Wiley, called the Special Meeting of the Governing Body, Village of Cloudcroft, to order at 5:00 p.m. by calling for the Pledge of Allegiance and Salute to the State Flag. Trustees Keith Hamilton and Gail McCoy were present in person. Trustees Danny Hardwick and Matt Willett were present via zoom. There were 2 visitors in attendance.
Pledge of Allegiance
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Salute to the Flag of New Mexico
“I salute the flag of the State of New Mexico, the Zia symbol of perfect friendship among united cultures.”
Discussion/Possible Action: Resolution 2026-16, Approval of Final Budget for FY 2025-2026
Trustee Hamilton made a motion to approve Resolution 2026-16, Trustee McCoy seconded the motion and the motion carried with a roll call vote of all voting “aye”.
Discussion/Possible Action: Resolution 2026-17, Approval of Interim Budget for FY 2026-2027
Trustee Hamilton made a motion to approve Resolution 2026-17, Trustee Hardwick seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote of Trustee Hamilton voting “aye”; Trustee Hardwick voting “aye”; Trustee Willett voting “aye” and Trustee McCoy, declaring a conflict of interest being an employee of the library, abstained from voting; and the motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Governing Body, Mayor Wiley adjourned the Special Meeting at 5:28 p.m.
